So if you find strong reason to start your blog then you have to decide your blog niche. You have to so specific to choose your blog niche. Either you can choose a topic that is highly trending and already millions of blog there on that niche or you can choose niche on which you have interest. By choosing trending niche you have to be expert first in that niche otherwise after couple of month you will find yourself nowhere else choose the niche that you are expert in. So that you can get more fresh idea to write article on it.
4. CHOOSE CORRECT DOMAIN NAME
Does domain name effect of blogging? Well in some expect it does. Choose the domain that describe your blog niche. Sometime you find that your desire domain name is not available in that case you can choose one that little different but memorable so people can easily access your blog. While choosing your domain try to make Unique, Easy to Spell or even you can choose good one instead of perfect.
5. CHOOSE CORRECT WEB HOST
If you are choose blogger platform than you have not to worry about hosting because hosting if provided by Google and it is enough secured than other. But if you are choose to blog on WordPress self hosted blog then you have to choose correct hosting company. Search on net before singing in any hosting company. Read review about them. People often telling that if you are serious about blogging than you have to choose self hosted blogging platform but there are so many example about successful blog that are still running on blogger platform. You can even migrate/transfer your blog from WordPress to Blogger or Blogger to WordPress anytime you think.
6. CHOOSE PERFECT THEME/TEMPLATE
Now it is time to choose perfect theme for your blog. Remember to choose suitable template / theme to your blog niche. Your blog theme is one kind of representative of your blog niche. It should be look professional. On WordPress choose premium theme and if you using blogger than there are so many free template available that enough professional.
7. SETTING ANALYTIC
After creating your blog setup analytic for it. It will help you to track your audience from where it comes in terms of location, source and more. It shows you what people are looking more on your blog. You can track your traffic, visitors, sources, recommended changes and many more.
8. CONTENT PLANNING
You must have solid content planning so that you will never run out of idea to produce fresh and unique content on regular basis. Publish content on your blog regular basis if it is not possible than do it on alternate day. Even you can produce content three times in a week. Choose the perfect day to produce next content. I have put traffic generation before the monetization just because if you do not have enough traffic on your blog then you will not earn from your blog. So before monetizing your blog get some traffic on it. Plan how you will get traffic to your blog. Stick to at least three or four traffic generation strategies that you will start with. For an example try blog commenting, guest posting, social media promotion. All these are effective way to promote your blog and bring traffic to your blog.
10. MONETIZATION
Now you may know why I mention not to blog for money only in first paragraph. The monetization is coming last in this list. After practicing and implementing all the above things you can now able to monetize your blog and start earning from it. If you have implemented the tactics that is mentioned above and now your blog is getting enough traffic than you can think about monetizing your blog. Think how you will make money with your blog?
